PORCH PET PROGRAM

Pickens Animal Rescue has an adoption program to encourage adopters to look at the adult pets that we have had in our foster program for over one year.  The normal adoption fee has been waived on this pets, but an application for adoption is still required. The animals are already spayed/neutered, current on vaccines, receive preventative healthcare and are microchipped.

PAR does not euthanize pets due to length of time they are in our care so we needed a way to "market" the long term residents. The porch pets are wonderful, healthy pets that just haven't gotten the exposure that others have or maybe they don't "show off" enough at our off-site adoptions to draw attention to themselves.

Make sure to take a look at our porch pets under the "pets for adoption" section of this website.

Want to help but can't adopt, don't have anymore time available to volunteer - How about making a donation that will even help on your taxes?

You can make a monthly donation or just a one time gift.  Remember Pickens Animal Rescue is a 501(c)3 corporation, meaning all donations are tax deductible.
